This work was completed during a 2015 Artist-In-Residence with the Angeles National Forest. I spent a week plus painting in and around Crystal Lake Recreation Area, located in the eastern part of the San Gabriel Mountains at about 7,000′ elevation. In this work I was exploring the structure of a group of trees in the campground.
