This work was completed during a 2015 Artist-In-Residence with the Angeles National Forest. I spent a week plus painting in and around Crystal Lake Recreation Area, located in the eastern part of the San Gabriel Mountains at about 7,000′ elevation. There are some lovely older architectural remnants in the campground there, including this little footbridge. I like the abstraction of the shapes and colors.
