Fractured light coming through the forest canopy illuminates a group of boulders. This work is highly textured with palette knife strokes and scratches. (Big Santa Anita Canyon, Angeles National Forest, CA)
Note that this work is on a hand-cut and gessoed 1/4″ wood panel (salvaged from our cabin). It is exactly 9″ x 12″, which means it may be a tight fit in a pre-manufactured frame.
